Aldershot is a town in the Rushmoor district of Hampshire, England. Aldershot is about 31.8 mi (51.2 km) southwest of London. It is located in a pocket between the popular towns of Farnham, Fleet, and Farnborough
Known as the Home of the British Army this typical English village has transformed over the years to the modern day bustling town it is now rife with residential Victorian terraces, surrounding a vibrant High street awash with local people and visitors alike.

Hampshire County Council is responsible for schools in Aldershot. There is a fantastic selection of schools in and around Aldershot for all ages, from nurseries right through to sixth form colleges including Park Primary, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary, Wellington Community Primary, Walsh C of E Junior School, St Michael’s CofE Infant and Junior, Newport Junior, Talavera, Ash Manor, Connaught , All Hallows and Heath End. There are also sixth form colleges in the neighbouring towns of Farnham and Farnborough.
Aldershot is on a direct link to London Waterloo by rail and is close to the A331 Blackwater Valley Relief Road offering access to the M3 and A31 to Farnham.
There are several large supermarkets such as Tesco, Morrisons and Lidl as well as plenty of smaller retailers around the town with a diverse selection of goods to cater for the multicultural population.
