Ascot has a small railway station comprised of just three platforms. However, services are plentiful, with the majority run by South West Trains. Most trains run between London Waterloo and Reading, travelling via Ascot. Monday to Sunday there is a train in each direction roughly every 30 minutes. However, there are more trains during the morning and evening peak hours. The average journey time to London Waterloo from Ascot takes 1 hour 6 minutes and Reading, 29 minutes.
