Our Core Market

our-market-in-figures

The first half of 2016 has proved a positive one across our market area. Transaction levels have remained on par with 2015, while average property prices continue to rise. Prices in the first half of 2016 are 9.1% higher than a year ago, but with an average price of £401,026, our area still offers good value compared to Surrey as a whole, where prices now exceed £430,000.

Terraced and semi-detached properties have seen considerable levels of interest. 50% more terraced properties have sold so far in 2016 compared to 2015, appealing to both the investor market and those looking to purchase what could be their first family home. Sales volumes for semi-detached properties are up 19% on a year earlier, a significant proportion selling for between £300,000 and £500,000.
